Short, enforced, and written plainly so nobody has to guess. One account covers the community, the courses and your talent profile, and these apply everywhere you post.
What we expect
The room works when everyone does these
- Give feedback the way you would want to receive it
- Ask specific questions and share what you already tried
- Credit people whose work you are using
- Keep client data out of public threads
What gets you removed
Stated plainly, so there is nothing to argue about later.
- Recruitment scams, MLM, or any "opportunity" that requires an upfront payment
- Selling in threads that are not for selling
- Harassment of any kind
- Reposting paid course material
On scams specifically
Communities of ambitious people looking for income are targeted relentlessly by schemes. We moderate this harder than anything else, we have paid moderators from day one, and we would rather over-remove than let one through. Trust is the only asset a community has.
How moderation works
Two paid moderators plus chapter leads. Removals are explained to the person, appeals go to a human, and repeated breaches end access permanently. Every moderation action is logged, so decisions can be reviewed rather than taken on trust.
